Endoscopy
An endoscope is a long, flexible medical camera which can be placed into the esophagus and stomach. Most times, this is necessary when we suspect that our patient has eaten some foreign material which is stuck or causing other problems. Our endoscope has an attachment for grasping these foreign items and many times we can retrieve them without the need for more invasive and costly surgery.
The cost of endoscopy at our office ranges from $1,500 to $2,500. If we are performing endoscopy to remove a foreign object and we are unable to do so, then we would proceed with surgery and there would be separate fees associated with that.
